Sustainability

When we design jewelry, we want our end product to be good for the maker, good for the buyer, and good for the earth. We are conscious of where our materials come from and where they may end up in the future. For these reasons, we almost exclusively source gold that is Fairmined, sourced from small-scale mines that adhere to the highest environmental and labor standards in the industry. Currently, there are 7 certified mines globally in Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador. We source fully traceable Canadian-mined diamonds for our traditional white diamonds; for other gemstones, we choose to work with suppliers we trust for their transparency including Ethiopian emeralds from Agere Treasures, Australian sapphires from Capricorn Gems, and a rainbow of gem species from Moyo Gems, Nineteen48, and Columbia Gem House. Working on a small scale allows us to be extremely selective with our sourcing so we can feel good about our choices and the jewelry we make. To us, sustainable jewelry also means jewelry that is meant to last and be passed down to generations. We predominantly work in 18k and 22k gold, superb materials that the wearer can treasure for a lifetime.
